Why is the firm named Townsend?

Family and history give our founder a sense of where he comes from and where we are going. Townsend is the maiden name of Mike's Great Grandmother, born in 1860, and the middle name of both his Grandpa Webb, born in 1894, and his older brother.

Heritage provides a sense of being part of something bigger than oneself. Your business success is bigger than us and it is an honor to partner with you on your journey.

Why is there a dog in Townsend's logo?

Mike's first dog was Buster. He was patient, smart, and loyal. He was a best friend to Mike when he was young.

Buster's image represents the friendly, patient, stimulating, loyal service you will receive as you grow your business.

Buster inspired the support of our local animal shelter.

Please tell me a little about Townsend's founder?

Mike Webb is enthusiastic about supporting you as you build your organization. After starting his career at Ernst & Young, Mike has spent the last 20+ years serving startup businesses, including the past 17 years as a CFO and most recently as CEO.

Mike is also deeply involved in serving his church family and sharing how much Jesus Christ has meant to him.
